Heritage Museum
The Heritage Museum includes a collection of dolls and a telephone museum. The doll collection includes 200 dolls of every variety in Ruth Holtan’s doll collection.
The Pioneer Phone Exhibit was a gift of the former Northwestern Bell telephone office in Mason City. Items were moved from there to the Park where they were made into this one-of-a-kind museum. The exhibit displays a switchboard including a manikin of a typical operator, telephones, hundreds of glass insulators, tools and manuals. The donation included shelving and display cases for the many artifacts.
