at Heritage Park

Featured event:
Steam Threshing Festival
August 2 – August 4

Tours of Heritage Park can be scheduled by appointment. All we need is a little time to arrange for a volunteer to serve as your guide. The fee is $10 per person. Schools, nursing homes, scouts, and similar organizations are admitted free.

People are allowed to walk through the park to enjoy the pleasant environment whenever the gates are open for free. A few buildings may be open. Many people enjoy this option for a little exercise or simply for a change of view for when times were a little slower.

When there are no events in progress, only the west gate off Highway 69 is normally open. The driveway is the first driveway south of the Forest City Inn.
